Dana Ritterbush, LIMHP, LADC

Executive Director, Nebraska | A Better Way Therapy and Capstone Behavioral Health

Dana has over 19 years of experience in the field of behavioral health. As a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP), Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), and Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP), Dana brings a comprehensive and compassionate approach to behavioral health leadership. Throughout her career, Dana has provided outpatient services to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Her expertise extends into workplace wellness, where she served within an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for 8 years, offering strategic consultation to supervisors and managers on employee performance, mental health and organizational well-being. Dana currently serves as the Executive Director of Nebraska, overseeing both A Better Way therapy of Nebraska and Capstone Behavioral Health of Nebraska.

Jacque Thompson, LICSW, LADC

Clinical Director, Nebraska | A Better Way Therapy and Capstone Behavioral Health

Jacque started her career with Capstone Behavioral Health in August 2007.  She is an Independently Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC). Prior to becoming a therapist, Jacque was a program developer with AmeriCorps at Lutheran Family Service for a year, an IOP case manager for two years and a Youth Care Worker at a residential facility for a year and a half.  Jacque’s talent lies in developing clinicians for the future and leading programs.  Her clinical passion is with the teenage population involved with the court system and planting the seeds for change.  Jacque currently serves as the Clinical Director of Nebraska, overseeing the clinical team at A Better Way Therapy of Nebraska and Capstone Behavioral Health of Nebraska.

Kendra Jones, LIMHP, LICSW

Administrative Director, Nebraska | A Better Way Therapy and Capstone Behavioral Health

Kendra is an Independently Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). She has over 15 years of experience working with children, families, couples, and adults. Her specialties include working with those involved in the child welfare and legal systems, as well as trauma. Kendra started working at Capstone Behavioral Health of Nebraska in March of 2023 as an outpatient therapist. In October 2024, she was promoted to Clinical Administrative Manager for the Nebraska region and became Administrative Director in July 2025. Prior to working at Capstone, Kendra worked for the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services Department of Child and Family Services (DHHS-CFS). She fulfilled numerous roles in her tenure with DHHS-CFS including Child and Family Services Specialist, Child and Family Outcome Monitor, Quality Assurance Specialist, Quality Assurance/Continuous Quality Improvement Program Coordinator, Contract Monitor Administrator, and the statewide Abuse/Neglect Hotline Administrator. Kendra has a passion for empowering and enacting change within people and systems that enable people to live happier and healthier lives. Kendra currently serves as the Administrative Director of Nebraska, overseeing the administrative teams at A Better Way Therapy of Nebraska and Capstone Behavioral Health of Nebraska, as well as the Community Service and Drug Testing teams at Capstone.
